Senior Leadership Team and Governors

Carole became a Governor and Trustee of the School in 2018. She Chairs the Finance Committee and sits on the Nominations, Remuneration and Governance Committee. Carole will take over as chair of Beechwood Park School for the school year 2026/27 until the full merger with St Albans School is completed.

After gaining a degree in Physics from Oxford, she qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG before joining Schroders. Carole has nearly 20 years' experience of Private Client Investment Management, both as Director at Schroders and then as a Consultant at Rathbones.

Her other roles include being a Trustee of the Woodland Trust where she chairs the Governance and Nominations committee and is a member of the Audit and Risk and Remuneration committees. She is also Chair of Trustees at Monks Walk School, a secondary Academy in Welwyn Garden City. 

Carole has recently retired from PDSA where she was the Deputy Chair as well as chair of their Finance Committee, and a member of the Governance committee and has served on their Audit and Risk Committee

Carole has a son and daughter, both of whom attended St Albans School.
