Teacher of Mathematics - For September 2025

St Albans School seeks to appoint a well-qualified graduate to join our highly-successful and forward-looking Mathematics Department that makes an important contribution to the School’s reputation for academic excellence. The successful candidate will teach from KS3 to A Level Further Mathematics and be able to prepare students for university entrance. This post is suitable for an experienced teacher looking for career progression or for a new entrant to the profession.  

The School has its own salary structure based on, but substantially above, national scales and a wide range of opportunities for advancement beyond the basic pay scale.   

St Albans is a beautiful Cathedral city, with a lively cultural life, surrounded by countryside but only 20 minutes from London by train, with easy access to motorways and airports.
