Senior Leadership Team and Governors

Melody is responsible for the day-to-day running of the School. Melody oversees disciplinary and pastoral arrangements for the School; major School functions; the School diary; the selection, training and supervision of school prefects and the staff handbook.

When the Head is absent from School, Melody acts in the Head’s place, assuming his responsibilities. Melody teaches Physics at the School.

Prior to joining St Albans School, Melody held the post of Head of Physics at Wellington College, Head of Lower School and then Head of Lower Sixth and Admissions at Magdalen College School, Oxford.

Melody has a BSc (Natural Sciences) from Durham and a PGCE from Manchester University.
